Derrick Stroup Tour 2026

Derrick Stroup, the eponymous band fronted by its charismatic namesake, emerged from the vibrant independent music scene of the American South. The core lineup features Stroup on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, complemented by the intricate lead guitar work of Sarah Jenkins, the driving bass lines of Marcus “MJ” Johnson, and the precise percussion of Elena Rodriguez. Their sound is a compelling fusion of Southern rock grit and alternative country storytelling, characterized by Stroup’s gravelly yet melodic voice, Jenkins’s tasteful solos that weave between blues and folk traditions, and a rhythm section that provides a solid, often propulsive, foundation. Expect layered acoustic and electric textures, often building from introspective verses to soaring, anthemic choruses.
